Gorman & Company has partnered with Cupid Development and Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan to develop Edison School Apartments, which is located at 5372 N 37th Street in Milwaukee, WI. Edison School Apartments is the adaptive reuse of the former North Milwaukee High School Building (built in 1924 with additions in 1928 and 1956) into 75 units of affordable housing. 63 units are located in the historic school. These 1‐ and 2‐bedroom units are restricted to seniors making between 30% and 60% of AMI. Amenities at this development include a community room, fitness center, and LSS’s office and will be available to school building residents only.
